“What's up”是来自美国的旧金山的摇滚乐团4 Non Blondes的一首成名曲，歌曲描述了25岁年轻人的心态，多年前这首歌风靡于世的时候，我也是25岁，所以至今仍然对这首歌留下了很深的印象。偶然在GOOGLE上检索到这首歌，居然发现很多朋友跟我有同样感受...

第一次听这首歌是在95年左右的MTV上，4 Non Blondes的歌风格很有特色，主唱Linda Perry嗓音粗犷、高亢，“磁性”十足，歌声与乐队伴奏浑然溶为一体。当时Nirvana、Sonic Youth等“非主流音乐”正在美国流行，最开始我认为它也属于非主流乐队的一支，不过现在看来这支乐队属于主流的“非主流”更合适一些。“What's up”收录在4 Non Blondes的成名专辑《Bigger, Better, Faster, More！》之中，实际上这张专辑只有“What's up”一首歌曲是最成功的，至今也未见乐队再出过其它唱片。4 Non Blondes是典型的凭借一首歌而且只有一首歌走红的乐队。
