本人这道题目好像没一个答案对的，大家的觉得呢

显然这里应填the number of
a quater表示1/4，另外三个选项的第二空结合下文均没有那样的用法，是错的。
所以选B啦~ ^-^
the number of表示“……的数量”；
a number of表示“大量的……”。
通过后面的118这个数字可知：应用the number of。
分数表示方法：分子在前，分母在后，分母用序数词，分子用基数词，当分子大于1时，分母用复数形式。A选项的分子用了序数词，所以错了。只能选B。
B选项这种a quarter（四分之一）这种方法也可表示分数，但这只是特殊情况。
