区别 other,others,the other,和 the others 的用法

1.other,形容词：剩余的，其余的；其他的；不同的
如：
where`s my other glove?我的那只手套在哪儿？
john and the others are here.约翰和其他人都在这儿

2.others,和some对比使用时, 是“有些”的意思而不是做“其他”讲, 如:some cleaned the windows, others mopped the floor. 有的擦窗户, 有的擦地板。

3.the other是其中的“另一个”,
如:give me the other one; not this one. 给我那一个, 不是这一个

两个中的“另一个”是“the other”; 不定数目中的“另一个”是“another” ,
如:this glass is broken. get me another. 这个杯子坏了, 给我另拿一个来。

4.(在许多杯子中的一个 the others 是“其余的”意思, 表示在一个范围内的其他全部,
如: this dictionary is better than the others. 这本字典比别[其余]的好。

other一般后面要加个名词，单复都可以
others＝other＋noun的pl. form 即另一些的意思
the other一般在两个事物中指代 比如：one is .......,the other is...............
the others 是在有范围内的另一些，不如：i bought some fruits, some are apples,the others are bananas. 我买了一些水果，一些是苹果，其他的是香蕉（除了这两个品种，我其他的没有买）因为我买的fruits是一个特定范围，是已知的
