九年级英语辅导书上，有一句话是说，“Time goes by,and good friendships may be lost.”是不是写错了？friendship有复数形式么？或者什么时候可以用复数？
friendship是抽象名词，所以一般都用单数的……为什么会出现复数的形式呢？因为这里是指与许多朋友的各种各样，不同类型的友谊，所以用复数强调这一点啦……
一般的抽象名词都有这个用法。
这个词绝对是有复数的,很多书上都有注解.
加S表明你与多个朋友之间的多个友谊,因为不加S时 表示的是FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN A AND B
一般不用复数 如 The friendship between he and I ....
但在泛指“友谊”时，就用复数.
friendship有复数形式
a relationship between friends: form a friendship(=make friends with someone) The two boys formed a deep and lasting friendship.
没有复数形式的情况是这样的
the feelings and behaviour that exist between friends
