这里要注意断句，(How different life today is)(from it was a few years ago) 修饰的是different.
如今的生活与过去相比是多么不一样啊！
用what应该说：What a different life it is today from it was years ago.
C\D就更不可能了，life名词应该用形容词来修饰．
A.我发表一下自己的看法。
首先，这个题目有不妥之处。把这个感叹句还原为陈述句，为"The life today is different from it was a few years ago".这一句必须有"the",而from 后应该为名次或状语，不能为句子。所以应该为"The life today is different from(the life) a few years ago"才是合理的。
这样看来，题目中用"it was a few years ago "做from 的介词宾语不合适的。即使这句话是正确的，那么陈述句必须有the是毫无疑问的。
现在来看，把陈述句改为感叹句，则有两种办法：
1、How differen the life today is from---!
2、What different life today is from---!(对名词感叹，要去掉定冠词the,而加不定冠词a/an,但life 不可数，则没有冠词了)
由以上分析知道答案应当为A.
