新生代民谣歌手Teddy Thompson在电影《断背山》"I Don’t Want To Say Goodbye"中唱出青春深情。 Teddy Thompson也有一个很犀利的音乐人老爸Richard Thompson，而且首张大碟也用了本名做Title，不过两者的曲风相差就何止10万8千里。Teddy Thompson会让人想起了Van Morrison来，尤其是在“Thanks A Lot”一曲中的吉他编排深得其神韵。Teddy尝试把乡村音乐和巴洛克式的弦乐融入到民谣摇滚的曲风中，这就使这张同名唱片理所当然地成为本年度最浪漫的摇滚专辑
开门曲Shine So Bright，像空旷的小山上，他独自哼唱着。一首加入Rock元素的乡村歌曲I Should Get Up，有些类似与Keith Urban的乡村风格。Everybody Move It ，Sorry To See Me Go和No Way To Be都是轻柔舒缓的作品。以轻盈可爱节奏开篇的I Wish It Was Over，同样让我很喜欢。Think Again的编曲我很喜欢，感觉很不错，给人有些惆怅，孤独的感觉。Altered State和That"s Enough Out Of You同样加入了摇滚的元素，是很不错的节奏轻快的小品。整张专辑给我最大的惊喜还要算是You Made It 这首，你听后，你会发现完全不符合他本人的风格和整张专辑所体现的风格
