公司机房温度:二等、三等奖学金

美英各国的奖学金，也许是为了避免第二三名的不良感觉，常常会避开提名，所以一般奖学金，第一和第二三名，各有其名：你得到的钱少一些，但奖学金名字不一样，也算是一个奖。

从我们中国人自己译的英语看，有如下多种，但都不贴切。
The Second Class Scholarship
The No.3 scholarship
Second-Grade Scholarship
3rd scholarship

到老外的奖学金网站去看一下，知道他们如果一定要分第一第二名，是用：
First Place - Danielle Lewis, Florida A&M University
Second Place - Katie Peltier, Otterbein College
Third Place - Emily Oliver, Iowa State University

另外，second/third scholarship是错的，见下面例句。那是指第二个即另一个，不是第二名。
例句：
Ted and his wife Jean now live in Lubbock, Texas. The couple's most recent gift of $185,000 is creating a second Presidential Scholarship for National Merit and Achievement Scholars at Iowa State. Their first scholarship of $100,000, established in 1994, was in honor of Hartman's parents, Gertrude and George Hartman.
