ID是身分，身份 (identification, identity)的意思,
identification, identity的缩写.其实就是表明你个人身份,你的个人识别代码的意思,所以,在某些BBS上,ID同样也代表着你的用户名称.(其实2者同一个意思)
ID:a document that shows your name and date of birth,ususlly with a photograph.指的就是"身份证,身份证明(文件)".ID card指的就是"身份证".一般在上网时指的就是用户名或帐号.说白了,就是能证明你身份的证件或替代物、码.另外,工业设计(Industrial Design)的缩写也是ID.
