In my point of view, from Beijing to Tianjin, you'd better choose the railroad transportation. The Inter-metropolis railroad system connects these two cities and the trains are usually faster than long distance buses, as the Beijing-Tianjin Expressway is always crowded with automobiles. Moreover, it is cheap to travel by train, for the ticket only costs you no more than 30 yuan. Nevertheless, if you choose to travel by train, you have to access to the Beijing railway station.
