2.C 其它三个介词意思不符合语境.
3.A "much less"指"and certainly not"如: He rarely talks about his outside activities, much less his family.

不定式表结果一般表意料之外的结果，所以选择现在分词表结果。D的话就是意思的差别了。我个人认为是读的少，因为句子里没有转折的意思。
什么破题目,什么叫做 wind open sea 蜿蜒开阔的大海?应该是wide open , 意思是开阔的.
还有,第二题中的四个词在这里都应该是介词,为什么还要跟to?搞没搞错啊!选A,意思是冲上海滩,又退会海里.
最后一个题,还有点正常,选A.
题目的意思是, 很多科学家连自己专业范围内的著作都不能全部看懂,这个范围以外的,能看懂的就更少了.B和D直接排除掉. 再者,因为前面用的是不定式to read all the works所以后面也用to read,不用reading,因此不选C,选A
