wait on :服侍,伺候
wait on 还可以用做wait upon.
后面接某人.
比如:
She waits on her husband from morning till night.
attend on: 服侍,伺候,伴随
因此,两者都有"服侍,伺候"的意思.
但是wait on 没有"伴随"的意思.
