while表示前后两个动作同时进行,而且前后两个动作还形成一种对照.My mother was washing the plates ,while my father was watching TV.I am five years old,while he is 7 years old.
when指当.......的时候eg:When I was young,I would like to listen to the radio.When I was in london,I used to go to the Bell Tower.
when也可以表示两个动作同时发生eg:When he was looking up,she was smiling at him.不过when表达的意思相对来说要单纯,只说明两个动作在时间上同步.到底用哪个?这要看上下文,体会含义.
while一般前后都是doing
when就无所谓
有时候两个相同
但如果做选择题
看到前后都是doing
肯定选while
