my opinion on this problem is: Sometimes pollution is inevitable just because the limit of humanbeing's aware and the level of technoledy. pollution occured before mankinds began to realize this problem. with the development of man's environmental aware and science and technolegy, we can easily find that there are ways to improve our living standard without destroy our home. such as today's environmental friendly technologies. it is essential for all of us to have a right perspective on the relationship of environmental protection and ecnomic development.

我不认为，关键还是技术问题，如果技术问题解决了,污染就一定会降低，当然这也离不开人们保护环境的意识. 生活好了,意识也应该相应地提高.当然现在污染加重也是一个事实，但也只是一个暂时的过程,需要人们充分的意识到这个问题，并积极的去解决.
I don't think we should lay all blame on the improvement of our living standard. The key issure is about technology, The pollution will be decreased if the techinological problem could be solved. Also, our enviromental problems are also related to our awareness, which should be improved as well as our living standras. However, it's a fact that our enviroment is becoming worse, we should pay much attention to it, and take actions to deal with it.
