in the past 2 years 在过去的两年里，常用现在完成时态
in 2 months 在两个月之后或左右，用于一般将来时
如：He will come back in two minutes.
before 常用于点时间前，如before 7 p.m.,before he comes back
after 也是常用于点时间前，如：after 7 p.m.,after he left
while 表是在····的时候，在···期间，强调动作或状态同时进行。常和现在完成时态连用 如：My mother was cooking while I was doing my homework.
when 可是表示当···的时候，但不强调同时进行。如：I was having supper when the doorbell rang.(我正在吃饭，这时门铃响了。)
过去，现在和将来时

有the past就肯定是过去

这两个时间状语都不能判断时态,要有具体的句子.
