我知道答案是B,但是way后面不是可以加in which加从句,也可以加that加从句吗?为什么这道题选B呢?

当way后面的关系词是in which／that或不加的时候，way是出现在从句的状语中的，实际上这时的that是一个关系副词，所以可以和in which互换。

Can you tell me the way in which／that he finished the job
这个句子中，the way在后面从句中是状语部分，即，he finished the job in this way

但在该题中，way则是充当从句的主语（do前少主语）
那么应该使用关系代词that，这时就不可以换成in which了
